History:

The partnership between master craftsman Teodoro Carnielli and talented racer Ottavio Bottecchia began long before the latter's historic Tour de France victories in 1924 and 1925. After Bottecchia's untimely passing in 1926, Carnielli continued the company in his friend's name, with Bottecchia frames quickly becoming renowned for their impeccable craftsmanship. In 1989, champion cyclist Greg Lemond rode a Bottecchia Equipe to victory in the Tour de France.
