The Olympia brand was founded in 1893 by Carlo Borghi in Milan and is, after Bianchi, the second oldest bicycle manufacturer in Italy that still exists today. In its early years, the company was known not only for bicycles but also for motorcycles before it fully dedicated itself to perfecting the sport of cycling. Olympia became particularly famous in the 1940s, when Enrico Mollo took second place in the 1940 Giro d'Italia on an Olympia machine and Pietro Chiappini won the Milan-San Remo race in 1941. The Italia Super model from the late 1970s represents the pinnacle of craftsmanship at the time and showcases the typical Italian passion for opulent designs and technical excellence that kept Olympia at the world's top for over a century.

This Olympia Italia Super is a shining example of late 70s elegance. The high-quality frame made of Columbus SL tubing stands out with its extraordinary gold finish, which develops an enormous depth in sunlight. The centerpiece of the build is the complete Campagnolo equipment, which holds a very special rarity: the crankset is individually pantographed with the Olympia lettering and the brand emblem. The cockpit and seatpost come from 3T (Tecno Tubo Torino), combined with a classic San Marco Rolls saddle in brown, which harmonizes perfectly with the gold color. Condition:

Used. This classic steel road bike underwent a comprehensive full restoration at Goldensteelcycles and presents itself in an outstanding overall condition. The frame is structurally sound, perfectly aligned, and free of cracks or dents. Following the restoration, the bike was ridden for a short distance of only about 100 km and subsequently underwent another thorough cleaning and technical check. All bearings run precisely, and the mechanical components were deep-cleaned in an ultrasonic bath. All wear parts were replaced during the rebuild, ensuring the bike is in technically flawless condition. This Olympia is fully Eroica-ready and prepared for its next ride.
