The charismatic Italian celebrated immense successes in the professional peloton during the 1960s and 1970s, including stage victories at the Tour de France and the Giro d'Italia, as well as his unforgettable solo victory at the Milan–San Remo monument in 1970. Following his active career, Dancelli utilized his decades of experience in elite racing to establish his own exclusive bicycle brand. Crafted in collaboration with renowned traditional Italian workshops such as Stella or the masters at Billato, Dancelli frames stood for first-class workmanship and typical Italian temperament. Particularly in the late 1980s and early 1990s, the brand set itself apart from the conventional market with extremely bold, loud, and unmistakable neon-design paint jobs, precisely hitting the fashionable nerve of the era.

This Dancelli road bike from the "Paris-Roubaix" model line is a prime example of the expressive design style of the early 1990s. Named after the "Hell of the North," the toughest cobblestone classic in the world, this frame combines resilience with Italian elegance. The foundation is built on the high-quality, proprietary Italian tubeset "Tubazione Speciale Dancelli," which stands out due to an excellent balance of stability and weight. The visual highlight is undoubtedly the exceptionally striking original paintwork in a three-tone white-purple-pink color scheme, which is guaranteed to draw all eyes. The frame design is further refined by the elegantly curved chrome fork and chromed accents on the chainstay.

The Italian racing machine comes equipped with a complete Shimano 600 Tricolor groupset (6400 series). Among connoisseurs, this legendary component group is still considered the indestructible "poor man's Dura-Ace," captivating users with silkily smooth mechanical gear changes and excellently modulated braking performance. The cockpit combines premium components from various cult manufacturers: the ITM stem guides a classic 3TTT Competizione handlebar, while the sporty Ritchey Comp saddle sits atop a matching ITM seatpost. Used. This Dancelli Paris-Roubaix presents itself in a fascinating, extremely well-conserved state. During the overhaul in the workshop of Goldensteelcycles, the bike was deeply revised. The Italian steel frame shows a flawless geometry without any dents or distortions. The striking three-tone paint job has fully retained its vibrant luminosity and, after a gentle deep cleaning by hand, was protected for the future with a high-quality wax sealant. Mechanically, the Shimano 600 Tricolor groupset is at a top level: all components were cleared of gummed-up grease in an ultrasonic bath, freshly lubricated, and precisely adjusted. The wheel, bottom bracket, and headset bearings were completely disassembled, cleaned, and adjusted to be absolutely play-free. A technically crisp and visually completely clean collector's piece that is ready to hit the road immediately.
