Description:

A premier example of Japanese metallurgical precision merged with European racing pedigree, the GentsRacer-S stands as one of the most celebrated competition framesets from the golden era of the Koga Miyata collaboration. Meticulously hand-brazed in Japan by Miyata's master craftsmen using double-butted Tange Champion chromium-molybdenum seamless steel tubing, the frame utilizes the reinforced 26.8 mm seat-tube wall configuration engineered to deliver exceptional lateral stiffness under power while preserving the sublime road-smoothing ride quality classic Japanese steel is renowned for. The frame is outfitted with forged Shimano SF vertical-entry rear dropouts complete with integrated tension adjuster screws, matching Miyata Cr-Mo fork blades with elegant crown detailing, a dependable 68 mm BSA bottom bracket shell, and traditional clamp-on derailleur compatibility. Finished in Koga’s distinguished metallic champagne green finish with contrasting period decals, this 56 cm frameset offers the quintessential base for an authentic, period-correct 6-speed Shimano 600 or Dura-Ace build.
