Description:

A top-tier late 1980s to early 1990s vintage road front wheel combining Shimano's benchmark 600 Ultegra series with Mavic's specialized hard-anodized alloy craftsmanship. At its core is the acclaimed Shimano 600 Tricolor HB-6400 front hub, engineered with ultra-smooth ground raceways, Borozon-treated cup-and-cone bearings, and durable internal contact seals for exceptionally long-lasting, low-resistance rotation. The hub is laced to a French-made Mavic 192 H box-section clincher rim extruded from heat-treated 6106 aircraft-grade aluminum alloy, featuring Mavic's signature "Couche Dure" hard-anodized protective finish for superior torsional stiffness, structural endurance, and extended brake track wear. With its aerodynamic 19.0 mm outer width, narrow 13.0 mm internal channel optimized for period 19c to 23c racing clinchers, and a standard 100 mm drop-out spacing, this wheel provides an authentic, high-performance front-end setup for any high-end late-80s or 90s classic steel road racer.
