Olmo is a historic Italian bicycle brand founded in 1939 by Giuseppe Olmo. Known as "Gepin," Olmo was a successful professional cyclist who won Olympic gold in the team time trial in 1932 and set a world hour record in 1935.
After retiring from racing, Olmo started manufacturing high-quality racing bicycles, which quickly gained a reputation for excellence and innovation. During the 1960s to 1980s, Olmo bikes were widely used in professional cycling, recognized for their lightweight steel frames, precision craftsmanship, and Italian design.
Olmo bicycles were ridden in numerous international races, including major classics and stage races. Today, the brand continues to produce racing bikes, gravel bikes, and city bikes, maintaining its legacy in Italian cycling history.
