Description:

A rare and high-performance Italian racing frameset from the 1990s, produced by the renowned frame builder Romani under the brand name Romany. Crafted from lightweight Columbus Alutron aluminum tubing, this frame features a custom geometry designed by legendary frame designer Carlo Dossena, whose signature is prominently displayed on the top tube. The frame is seamlessly paired with an authentic, period-correct Vitus Dural aluminum threaded fork, offering exceptional vibration damping and low front-end weight while maintaining impressive lateral rigidity. Engineered for modern-classic performance, it features a versatile 100 mm / 130 mm hub spacing suitable for 8-speed, 9-speed, or 10-speed drivetrains, along with a standard 27.2 mm seatpost diameter, a braze-on front derailleur mount, and an Italian-threaded bottom bracket shell. Complete with its striking yellow-to-silver gradient finish, this frameset serves as a magnificent foundation for any premium vintage road build.
