Description:
This is an authentic 1995 team frameset from the Belgian professional cycling team Collstrop-Lystex. The frame is constructed from high-end Columbus EL (Extra Leggeri) or EL-OS steel tubing, which was the preferred choice for professional racing in the mid-1990s due to its thin-walled Nivacrom steel, offering an exceptional strength-to-weight ratio.
A defining technical feature is the monostay rear triangle, where the seat stays merge into a single, robust tube before reaching the seat cluster, providing increased lateral stiffness. As an original team-issued frame, it includes a factory-integrated race number hanger located under the top tube.
The frameset is finished in the distinctive team livery (black, purple, and yellow) with fully chrome-plated chainstays, seatstays, and a matching 1" threaded chrome fork. Designed for 130 mm rear spacing and a 70 mm Italian-threaded bottom bracket, it is technically optimized for professional groupsets of the era, such as Campagnolo Record or Chorus 8-speed, which were commonly used by the team.
The frame and fork have been cleaned and inspected for technical integrity.
