Francesco Moser - Classic Steel Road Bike - 1980s - Shimano 105
History:
The Francesco Moser brand emerged in the late 1970s in Trentino, Italy, directly shaped by the successes and perfectionism of its namesake, "Lo Sceriffo" (The Sheriff). As one of the most successful professionals of his era, Moser brought his racing experience directly into frame development.
The international breakthrough came in 1984 when Francesco Moser broke Eddy Merckx's hour record in Mexico City with a revolutionary time-trial bike. This technological edge—particularly in aerodynamics and the use of disc wheels—became the brand's trademark. Models like the "51.151" made the brand world-famous and still represent the symbiosis of Italian craftsmanship and technical innovation today.
